A lifelong news and pop culture junkie, I grew up wanting to be the next Katie Couric.  But after a brief stint as a television reporter on the East Coast, I realized the on-camera life wasn't for me. So, I did the only sensible thing: I packed my bags and headed to sunny California.

 

Twelve years and a few hard knocks later, I'm proud to call Los Angeles home. From the buzzing newsroom of "Entertainment Tonight" to the bright and cheery world of cards at American Greetings, I've been fortunate to write for some great companies.

 

In my spare time, when I'm not plotting the storyline for my next novel, I can usually be found watching really bad reality shows or hiking the Santa Monica Mountains with my naughty little puggle, Penny.
